The International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO), the Hungarian Chemical Society (MKE) and the Hungarian Scientific Society of Measurement, Automation and Informatics (MATE) cordially invite you to participate in the International Conference on Metrology of Environmental, Food and Nutritional Measurements (MEFNM2008) to be held on 9 - 12 September 2008 in Budapest, Hungary.

The MEFNM2008 having three parallel scientific events (2^nd IMEKO TC19 Conference on Environmental Measurements, 1^st IMEKO TC23 Conference on Food and Nutritional Measurements, 1^st IMEKO TC 24 Conference on Chemical Measurements) will provide an excellent forum for the representatives of research, education and industry to meet and exchange ideas about technologies and applications.

TC19, TC23 and TC24 are the newest technical committees (TC) of IMEKO. The General Council of IMEKO approved the formation of (1) TC19 in 1999 in Osaka, Japan, (2) TC23 in 2006 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Founding members of both TCs, recognizing the overlap between the field of activity of TC19, TC23 and the scopes of other international societies and associations, stated the mission of these TCs as follows: TC19 and TC23 provide an international platform for collaborating in the field of environmental, as well as food and nutritional measurements.
